Hey guys! This is what Bass talking about scoops and all that stuff does to me. Posted over at FF.net.
“Is this really necessary?” Bass protested as Charlie continued tying his hands behind the tree. He sat with his legs extended, watching her work around them. She’d get close enough for him to feel the heat emanating from her body, delicate movements that only made his imagination soar.
She bend over, legs spread apart, her face inches away from his. “You were the one who said I needed to work on my knots.” That little devious smile and the subtle biting of her lip told him this wasn’t just an innocent exercise in rope tying. She straightened up, her hands placed on her hips as she looked out into the vast and empty forest.
He knew he was no king but he couldn’t help thinking of the Republic as his empire. He had everything he’d hoped for, everything except her. Bass was missing a ruling partner, a queen, and he was convinced Charlie Matheson was the only one fit for that role.
“We’ve got to stop meeting like this.” He growled into her ear, pushing himself inside her again and burying himself deep inside her tight walls. The air outside was crisp, the faint sounds of the guests inside the house barely audible from the unlit garden.
Charlie stepped foot through the front door, her legs shaking as the nerves took over. It felt like ages since she’d seen him. In reality, it had only been a few weeks. The last time they’d been together, the snow had been falling, blanketing everything around them in whiteness as the winter chill gave them the perfect opportunity to seek comfort in each other’s warmth. After the power came back on, his main focus shifted to rebuilding his Republic. He begged her to join him but her loyalty to family was stronger than her need for him. He called it a weakness. She refused to see it as such. It wasn’t long before Charlie learned her real weakness was actually him.
She walked through the crowded room, her dress swaying with each stride. It was still a challenge for her to walk in heels but she did her best, especially when the occasion called for it. The band in the main ballroom played classical music and waiters walked around with platters of food and champagne. She rolled her eyes. Bass always had an affinity for the extravagant.
“So you’ve never felt the attraction that comes when someone who is capable of doing terrible things for some reason, cares only about you?”
This video is amazing. Watch it, NOW.
Today is the day Marty McFly goes to the future!
